What we stock
Everything on this site is weighed and packed here, not shipped in from a warehouse:
- Kaju - the deepest shelf we have, from the everyday grades up to jumbo whole.
- Badam - Californian, mamra and the regular grades.
- Akhrot, pista and anjeer, khajoor and mixed dry fruit.
- Kishmish and dakh, dates, makhana.
How to order
On this site. Pick the weight you want - most things come in 100g, 250g, 500g and 1kg - add to cart and put in your address. Delivery inside Salumbar is free over ₹200, and orders placed before 5 PM go out the same day.
Or on WhatsApp. The website does not list everything we keep yet. If you cannot find something, send us the list and we will price it and pack it exactly the same way. Most of our orders still come in this way, and it is the quickest route if you are ordering a long list.
Buying by weight, not by packet
A sealed 200g packet from a supermarket tells you the weight and nothing else. Buying loose, you can see the nut before you pay for it - the colour, the size, whether it is whole or broken - and you can buy 100g of something you are trying for the first time instead of committing to half a kilo.
It also means the price reflects the grade. A cashew that gets ground into a gravy does not need to be the biggest one on the shelf, and we will tell you that rather than sell you the expensive grade for a job that does not need it.
What it costs
Dry fruit prices move with the season, so the figure on each product page is the live one. As a rough idea: kaju starts around ₹212 for 250g, badam from ₹100, and the mixed packs from ₹85.
Festival and wedding orders
For a wedding or a Diwali box, talk to us a week or two ahead rather than the day before. Large whole-grade nuts are the first thing to run short in November, and planning it early is usually the difference between the grade you wanted and the grade that was left.
